Still havent found a solution for my dead W580i

I would totally send it in to ATT for exchange, but they said if they found third party d/l they would charge me full price for my phone, which is like 250 bucks! I didnt d.l 3rd party stuff cuz I made it on my own, but I bet they will assume since it wasnt created by ATT that it is 3rd party.

Edit: I also tried to flash the phone with SETools with an erom file I d/l under main firmware I think...Is that bad? Will I have to reflash the main and fs to my phone? I appreciate all the inputs bc of what I said above ^ . But yall said I could send it in to SE? Would they charge me like ATT would for having non ATT files?

i think that may be the problem, after the EROM update did you flash MAIN and FS again before trying to start your phone?? if not try that...........

No I didnt, Ill give that a try. Any clue which main and fs files I need to flash to it, or will it not matter.
