Hey, guys!

WiFi is nice, much better and faster than Bluetooth. I think its worth that but in PC, i had no chance to test it in phone :(
I know only 2 SE with Wi-Fi (also called WLAN) - P1 and W910i. Maybe there are others but i never saw them...
it does worth it, but unfortunatly very few phones have WiFi. Look for Symbian models.
I mean only that 2 phones from SE got wifi, cause there are many OTHER brands, like Nokia or SPV where it is almost standard currently
Wifi Usually Connects At 54mbps But New Wifi Products Can Support Up To 108mbps (Mbps Not Kbps) And Its Range Is About 200Meters. See Wi-Fi - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia For Further Details.
Look at the smarphones, altough not all of them have it: P1i and P990i have WiFi, not M60x for example!
wifi is definitely worth it, can do so much things with it...makes the phone less like a phone but more like a computer....
right now for SE with wifi, X1, G900, W960, P1
yea.. with wifi u can play games on ur phone with ur frds :P
i have actually tried that using bluetooth, didn't work out too good; in fact it sucks lol
:p nokia n82 has wi fi which is new concept, why not sony do this, wifi in mobile means an internet in ur palm, with speed and mobility.
The only one I know is the W960i which is sort of fat for a candybar phone. A co-worker has one in the office. It's not a bad phone per se - I'm just not crazy about it's design. It does have WiFi though and he uses it to check the mobile versions of websites. The nice thing is that he doesn't get charged data fees since it's accessing the internet over the office router.
It's a great feature to have - it's just not available in a lot of the smaller phones (probably due to price). Also I the carriers put pressure on the manufacturers to NOT include this feature; they'd rather charge people on the data plans. Yes, it does suck. :(
