    UNbranding issue

Hey guys I had a S500i and lost it so I was forced to get an AT&T W580i and after using sonyericsson's firmware I simply couldn't handle using At&t's( not to mention the long list of features they disabled) Anyway when I got the phone in the mail today I re flashed it using Wotanserver the flash worked loved the way the phone looked and worked.

However, I flashed it before putting in the SIm and activating the phone with At&t it wouldn't allow me to activate it with the phone so I used my brothers W580 to activate it but when I put the sim back in mine it says no network coverage. when I go to select network I can see At&t but when I click it it says currently unavailable. Any help would be much apreciated.

    Thanks

so the phone is network-locked on at&t and your sim is a at&t simcard but after flashing does not have network?

if it were SIM-lock related, wouldn't the phone say "Insert Correct SIM" instead?

You have Mobile networks -> Search mode = Automatic ? Manual? tried both?

What firmware is your phone now using?

Another reason debranding should be done piecemeal by customize_update.xml instead of total flash
