Invalid Usim in k800i

Hi

I have a k800i thats locked on 3, however when i insert a 3 sim (3G) its saying invalid usim?? Im fed up with 3 anyway so id like to unlock the phone.

Ive used far manager before however the se plugin keeps crashin and closing far manager under windows Vista.

Se tools works good and i can read the phone, I could just do with some direction and where to get the files that i need to update this phone.

I have another unlocked k800i that came direct from the manufacturers, can i use this to gain the files???

Im in the Uk and the handset is CID 49 not 51.

Any advice would be welcome.

This messagge because the phone has an USIM-LOCK (is not hardware lock but a network H3G lock, not removable with any tools). If you unlock the phone with Patch generator you can use other sim from other providers.

You can't extract the firmware on Db2020. You must to have MAIN + FS + CP files to debrand and then unlock it.

I dont mind paying my fee to topsony to get the files i need but which ones!!!

Im just about to update the phone with the Se update service so i will have to let you know if the cid changes.

How do i securly back the gdfs up?? so i dont corrupt the phone,which files do i need for a total unlock of the k800i for the UK, theres so many eurpes to choose from and so many cids that im afraid i got a bit a confused and i think i downloaded the wrong ones. :mad:

Also how do i make sure that i unlock the phone properly to get away from this flamin invalid Usim. i would appreciate ny help and advice and my maybe instuctions!!!! :o

to restore gdfs:
download setool
and when you open it press read gdfs, then follow the instructions on the screen (if there are any)

unlocking:
download any cid52 generic main (i reccomend r8ba024) and any fs (almoast 99% fs have english in themselves- if not all), and i don't know which custpack you have to download
ofcourse download k810 main and fs -k810 is the same like k800- but you get an option to patch and everything
download the patch i gave you (if you have downloaded r8ba024) to unlock your phone
and then download jdflasher and look at this tutorial

that would be all, if you use unlock patch- you can be 100% sure you can put any sim card in your k800

you can't kill your phone- it is very difficult
