Help with Flashing & Unlocking of K790i

I am new to flashing, debranding and unlocking and stuff so if there is anyone that can help me debrand and unlock my K790i I would apreciate that very much. I used setool2 lite and i found out the version is "R1EG001" but i need help as to what files i need to download inorder to flash and unlock it and also where to get those files..

you need to download:
MAIN-file of latest firmware (generic or china, if you live in Chine :) )
FS-file of latest firmware (for your language) - Top Sony - Languages Description
Custom file (of FS).

download section - Top Sony - Download

the MAIN and FS files must have *same version number*, and be compatible with each other. They should also have the same CID as your current phone. SETool tells you what your phone's CID is. (although CID can be upgraded irrevocably using a different program)

China/Hongkong/Taiwan MAIN must have corresponding FS.
NAM (North American) must have FS for North America.
GENERIC MAIN can go with the other FS.

Custpack should have a location compatible with the FS location.

Your choice of FS determines what languages your phone supports.

At the minimum, you need "R1EG001" FS of a suitable region, and a compatible custpack.


For unlocking, you need the MAIN and the program to patch it. Again, the idea is MAIN and FS must have the same version number.

Debranding Removes The Operators Crap Stuff.
Unlocking Allows Using Any Simcard.

In Order To Debrand You'll Need
1> A Non-Branded MAIN i.e Generic
2> A FS, AnyOne Depending Upon Your Region And Languages You Want.
3> A CustomPack. See Top Sony - CDA List To Match A CustomPack With Your FS.

Once You Have All Three Files, Use This Tutorial XS++ 3.1 Guide-Flashing,Customizing,Recovering To Debrand Your Phone.

In Order To Unlock, You'll Need Your MAIN. Then Use Remove SIM-lock patch generator To Create And Apply Unlock Patch To Your Phone.
