"Inactive SIM" means that the SIM card is no longer valid. When the phone is locked u have to get "Insert correct SIM" no "Inactive SIM".
P.S. Symox patch generator doesn't create patches from branded FWs.

Just to let you all know, any contract customer of Vodafone UK can now get their Vodafone contract handsets unlocked free of charge, regardless of their age by contacting Customer Service. You do need to have an active account with us for us to be able to do this.

Pay As You Talk customers can get handsets over 12 months old unlocked for free; if they're less than 12 months old a charge of £19.99 including VAT applies.

What does it mean the SIM's invalid? I've tried three different SIMs, all working, but not with this phone. Not using branded software, but latest generic realeases.
