Heres A Link For Your Solution Advanced troubleshooting for errors in Windows XP But You Should Reinstall Cause Most Probably Your DriverStor Is Curropted Which Is Beyond Repair.

Well If You Persist To Stay To Current Windows Installation Then I'll Start With The Easiest Method (There Are Two More). Download The AccessDeniedUtility_1_3_4.exe Designed By HP For Their Printers But This Resolves The Problem In Registry. Simply Download And Run It. Then Let It Scan Registry And After That Try Installing Drivers. Let Me Know If It Succeeds Or If It Fails, We Can Try Other Two.
    Best Regards.

    Download Link: ftp://ftp.hp.com/pub/softlib/softwar...lity_1_3_4.exe
