Cant find any updates (k850)

Hello Topsony''ers,


I have a SE k850i with the default firmware on it ;
R1CA029

Whenever I try to use SEUS and update my k850 it says there is no update and i have the latest software installed even tho this is not the case.

can some one help me out?

Look SEUS only upgrades your version of firmware if there are any fixes for bugs, not to new firmware. You can upgrade yor phone to newer version of firmware only by flashing, but not for free for now ( xs++ supports k850, but only detects it and you can`t do anything else for now ).

well actually there are alot of bug fixes since the first firmware release ( i still have the first firmware on my device)

My phone is only finding the R1CA037..

Im hoping they bring a new one out at some point which allows me to use the "not detail" list optinos for my messages..

Is it possible to flash the FW with xs++ now? I noticed the original post was last year. has the status on upgrading this phone changed?

Not yet. Xs++ 3.1 detects k850i , but you can`t do anything else.

Maybe your phones' firmware is damaged...

I can't find another reason for not being upgraded...All K850's(debranded and branded)are able to upgrade to R1EA031,which is the latest software version! ;)

but R1EA031 firmware is not stable yet..
