Although its a general XS++ tutorial, if you see the pictures carefully (that is why I've given you the lo fi version) its a K610i phone detected but he's flashed it with a w660 MAIN and FS too.
So I guess that answers your questions!

You'll get the Walkman player which is nice. But you have to keep the camera busy if you want to use the Walkman. You can remove the camdrivers or run facewarp as long as you use the Walkman. If you start the walkman without having the camera busy your phone will hang. There's nothing you can do except taking the battery out and turn it on again.

There is already a selution for this.Just delete the cam drivers.And the walkman will work without any problem.

2. This is a solution if you don't need the camera at all. In any other case it's a bad compromise.

That actually happens? Thats so friggin sad!!
What you could do though is find (or make, you just need Winhex) a patch for K610/W660 to transfer seetings/camera to other/camera. Then copy paste the driver when you want to use the camera and restart the phone to use it.
When you want the walkman delete the driver.

Still, can't you just live with the media player?? :) :)

Mate, I have K610i. And i flashed it to W660 3 days ago. The result is that I'm now searching for K610i firmware, as I will flash it back to original. It isn't worth it. Eventually, you'll find flash menus boring, but your phone will keep freezing. My phone sometimes doesn't even want to access applications and/or games folder. Then, when I manage to run walkman (by pressing play button e.g.), it freezes sometimes, sometimes does not.

My advice to you is to try. But I'm sure you won't find it worth of it ;)

Hey Deusdies, what MAIN and FS files did you download for your k610i? I've got one from 2 years ago, and it just died on me on the way home. I got it in Germany, it's an o2 and was unlocked when I bought it. I live in the States now, and am looking for the right firmware. I think I need K610_R1ED001_FS_AMERICA_2_RED49 and K610_R1ED001_MAIN_GENERIC_TH_RED49. Is this right?
