Please see this thread and help me unlock this K550. Cannot see what I am doing wrong.

Depending what CID?? and DB ????? ect i think you can use simox's unlock tool it is great and very easy to follow. I have just unlock my w850i

K550 is DB2020, you need to have a CID52 Phone to do unlock by Patch.
If you dont got, please use Seus (Sony Ericsson Update Service) first.
After Update you may have latest Firmware for CID52.

Now you can do unlock via Patch, by using Patch Generator and Setool2 lite 1.11.

I think instruction for that you find.

better than that, use xs++3.1 to increase cid to 52
some day you might get a cid53 phone after upgrading with the official tool alias SEUS and then will be nothing you can do

no one told you that you must first debrand your phone(flashing with generic main fs) because patch doesn't work with branded firmware or working wrong

Thanks to all that replied. Not had time to try again, other things took priority.

Flashed firmware main with XS++ OK
Made patch with Simox patch gen. OK
Opened SEtoolLt, selected K550, ticked Bypass 2020
Put patch file in Misc, hit flash OK

first part OK, second part a window appears,
SOME PATCH VALUES DIFFERS
CONTINUE? YES NO
clicked Yes,
phone now dead :mad: again

You didn't say what MAIN you used, and what FS, customization you have on your phone.

R8BA024 main generic LI 52 used
not flashed FS yet, as phone is dead before. (downloaded central europe and europe2 as i could not find europe1)

original was R6CA001 orange generic
