I did a bit of reaearch for you:
nothng much, apart from the acoustics (sound drivers), and a few other things are different

there is Something new, The Displaydriver

K800_R8BC004
version=200711221;

K800 R8bf003
version=200711221;

K800 R8BA024
version=200610121;

and the sound driver has gone up a version or two.....

So the only real noticable differnces are the sound that the phone produces, a bit less hissing, apart from that nothing, theres not really much point of preforming this, but go ahead if you wish

if yes, which firmware you run? i flash my now with the R8bf003 all works fine for now.

are there some .vkp patches to K800 firmware R8BF003?

I have a k800i, but never thought of flashing it to a R8BF003, i run the k800i using R8BA024 firmware, purley because there are more patches than the latest firmware, and there are minor differnces between the firwmare...

Maybe the latest firmware is more stable than the other ones.
I think that soon more and more patches will be coming out for R8BF003 as people usually
start to develop patches for latest firmwares.

upgrade to one of the top three firmwares for k800i (the latest ones) as more patches are being produced, then go to the thread for patches for db2020 phones..
