    New translation

    Hi, is there anyway for me to retranslate the phone? I mean, I didnt like the portuguese transation of the k550i and i want to change some strings... When i open the file i cannot see text, just a bunch of strange chars...

    it s possible with using some programs like lngedit
    u open u re flash of u re phone and change all vocabulary that u want than restore and send it to u re phone again
    first look where place of languagee in your phone using xs++3.1 or far manager
    TPA, PRESET \ SYSTEM \ LANGUAGE \ there we take file of lang

    Download the LNG Editor v0.0.0.11(startimes linked it). Also download the *.lng file from your phone what you want to edit. Open the *.lng file with LNG Editor. Now you can edit the strings(texts). When you done editing, save it and upload it to phone. That's all :)
    And don't forget to make a backup from your *.lng file in case something goes wrong...

    but where in fs the language is stored?

    i think it is stored in the custpack, not fs, but not too sure bout it?>??

    The language files are stored in tpa/preset/system/language/ folder.
