Tried Everything, K790i doesn't turn on!

Dear All, my K790i won't turn on, when I tried to charge it there is a red light blinking next to the infrared, but after awhile the red light turned off. I pressed every buttons, but it still has no response......... I also tried to use Setool2li v.1.11 still no response........ (When I plugged in the usb cable, the red light blinked few times) :confused: Any advices on how to fix my k790i, greatly appreciated? Thanks!!! Mak

Your erom is corrupted.You need to fix the erom.Download the erom file from some source and flash it and also main and filesystem.This will solve the your problem.

Dear, Thanks for your reply! I had tried to connect my phone using xs++ and setool2lite v.1.11, but my phone still has no response.

When I used xs++, I hold "c" and connected the usb cable. It showed the following in the log window:

thats normal...you have to connect it by holding 2+5 keys so the phone can be connected...

You find the firmware in the download section. You could use this files, I selected the newer version according to your phone.

I downloaded the following files (it's not the files "yooman" suggested, because I don't have access):
K790_R1EG001_FS_AMERICA_2_RED49.fbn
K790_R1EG001_MAIN_GENERIC_RED49.mbn

Then I added them in the SEtool2Lite under Files window.
Firmware Upgrade Pack: Blank.
MISC files: Blank.
Restore file: Blank.
CDA: Blank.
Change CID to: Current.
Start Address: 44000000 Length: 00020000

Then I pressed Flash, plugged in the cell phone and let it ran.....

When it's finished, the following showed up:

With this you only reflash the firmware.But your erom is corrupted.So you have to flash the erom file.

Then follow the guide to flash erom file
