pc suite problem

i am using vista ultimate and se pc suite 2.10.46.

after the first installation of pc suite to a new formatted pc, the first sync was made successfully. but, later when i connect the k810 via usb, or via bluetooth, sync doesnt made. pc suite sees the phone but sync is not made.

clicking on the sync or sync manager buttons dont work. i uninstalled and reinstalled the program nothing changed.

how can this problem fixed?

I think that PC suite not yet compatible with vista. There is a Knowlege base on SE website says it is tested with XP SP2. NO mention of Vista yet.

it says it is vista compatible. also the version given by the phone package doesnt installed, it says it is incompatible with vista.

then it seems like we will wait:(

xp reminds me the problems that i have experienced since 2001. last week i installed xp and formatted after 3 hours of usage:p

i tried in the morning and pc suite worked well. i think it works if it wants to work.:D

I spent a lot of time with SE support on the phone with an install of the latest (2.10.46) version of PC suite.
I eventually removed .Net from the PC, and PC Suite worked.

Even though the Suite was 2.10.46, it was showing on my system as 2.10.37 (or similar) and just did not want to work with my handset.

Try this...
1. Remove PC Suite
2. Remove .NET
3. Reinstall PC Suite
4. Try connecting a few times, see if it works consistently.
5. Reinstall .NET
6. Try connecting again, and again see if it works consistently.

There is a new version: Sony Ericsson PC Suite 3.1
Try the newer one, maybe you won't have problems anymore.
I installed after I formated my computer and it works great. The new version of this program looks better that the previously one.
