W580i video playback ???

For some reason when I play video on my phone it will not fast forward or rewind by pressing and holding the joy pad arrows as It states in the user manual It works on the audio player Just not on the video player.
Is this a common problem with the w580i or just my phone?
I contacted Sony Ericsson tech support today and they don’t have a clue. :confused:

Is there an alternative video player I can install?

Where Are You Playing Videos. Go To Entertainment>Video Player And Play Videos There. Use Left Right To For,Rew In Portrait Mode And Up Down To For,Rew In Landscape Mode.

Thanks mohdumer, I was playing the video from my stuff video folder I didn't realize I wasn’t using the video player.
