    Question i dont understand my k800i

    i cant seem to understand my k800i..i keep on having it repaired on the service center but it still keeps getting "fried".. every time i plug it using my usb cable, once it restarts, it just reboots and reboots.. it wont load onto the OS or something.. what is wrong with my phone.. i think i already sent it for repair 7 times in a span of 2 months.. help!!! i tried using xs++ and setools but i still get the same thing..:confused::confused::confused:

    I think it's the drivers. You might want to install SEUS. Or try if SEUS works.

    Install Sony ericsson update service. It automatically installs new drivers for your mobile to work on computer.

    i have experienced such things b4... should request SE service to replace the main board
    hardware problem

    I don't think that your problem is software kind... You should get another main board for your phone...

    When you say 'fried' do you mean that your information is erased? Or are you saying that it doesn't work?

    We have one co-worker that has a Dell notebook with a bad USB port. Whenever he would connect a mouse it would never light up. When he connected his iPod and phone his information was deleted. (both iPod and phone still worked - just his songs and contacts were missing)

    After our IT dept looked at it they sent it into Dell to be fixed. Apparently the voltage was higher than normal in that particular port. (other USB ports on the notebook were fine)

    So long story short - sometimes it's actually not the phone's fault (or driver's for that matter). :p

    sounds liek a hardware problem as it is "fixed" and same problem occurs again request a replacemnet
