w580i is Amazing, except for a few things...

I purchased the w580i about a month ago, and have been using it for around 3 weeks now. All the research I did on the phone before hand indicated this would be the best phone I could get for the money I was willing to put down. All in all, I still think it is.

HOWEVER, there are a few small, yet significant, weaknesses in the software of the phone that I would like to bring up to the community in an effort to see if anything can be done to fix or amend these.

-Alarms:
You can set the alarm on the phone to play a music file. However, it will only plays the first 30 seconds of the track you select. Wouldn't you expect a walkman phone to be able to play from a Playlist as an alarm? Including FULL songs, and multiple songs until the user stops it (or wakes up)?

-Speaker Phone:
First, I'll say this. The MP3 speaker is INCREDIBLE for a cell phone. Both in clarity and in volume. However, the speaker phone is played through a different speaker, that isn't NEARLY loud enough to use unless you are sitting still in a quiet room. Why not use the louder speaker for the Speaker Phone?

Now, for the bonus question: Does anyone know of a workaround or method to rectify this phones subtle down falls? Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.

For the second one, use the MPS 70:


Lots of my friends own an W580i. Some of my friends buttons have cracked in half but still usable. And another's back and select button isn't working from the internal keypad moving down.

The thing I h8 about the phone is that the speaker is in the D-pad which to makes it seem very quite.

its a slider so when u take it out u generally slide it up and down and play with it lolz
