How can I upgrade my k510i from cid 49 to 50 (R4EC001)

Please somebody tell me what files I need for FAR, for changing the cid and the steps for this operation.

why do you want to change cid?

Sorry I've never used FAR. You could use XS++ and then flash the firmwire you want on the phone, flash the main and the FS.

What is a CID:

CID = This "number" defines the version of SE's protection present in the phone.New CIDs are deployed from time to time, for the sole reason of preventing them from beeing unlocked/flashed/tampered with by non-SE service tools. Current CIDs in use by SE are 29/36/37/49/51. SE-based LG/Sharp phones use the same system (but different versions). The OTP (One Time Programmable memory) and EROM of a phone might be protected by different CIDs, usually the case in newer K600s/K608s.

You don´t need to bruteforce, just flash Main + FS CID 49 and custompack.

use latest SeTool Lite or latest XS++ to flash, you don't need FAR anymore. Also, keep your CID because it is easier to customize your phone with CID 49 than with CID 50. So don't upgrade your CID, instead download CID 49 version firmware and flash.
