    Some people said that SEUS might change your EROM from BROWN to RED if the phone isn't a prototype. I can't confirm that, never tried it myself.

    There's no free solution yet as far as I know.

    @ justme thanks for the reply buddy...its a prototype:(...herez the idea what i've in mind...

    XS++ sayz if u want to convert to CID52...if XS++ convert it from CID49 to CID52...after that i flash the Erom with on of these files...

    W610_RED_CID52_R3B021_EROM-FOTA_2006-12-18_15
    W610_RED_CID52_R3B025_EROM-FOTA_2007-06-14_07
    W610_RED_CID52_R3B025_EROM-FOTA_2007-07-24_14

    then flash with any firmware....what u say...will it work?? btw thanks again...
    Or is there any other method of accessing the filesystem on this fone???

    It's most likely that you would screw your phone up if you use that method.
    I'm not 100% sure but I wouldn't do it ;)

    FOTA doesn't reflash the EROM, it's just an update.
    The CID update is a script and I don't think it'll work out for you brown EROM.
    Again: I'm not 100% sure, try if you want to but you might kill your phone.

    XS++ dont have db2020_brown49_cs_xxxxx.bin

    So you can not use Read/Write GDFS, use script and customizing.

    Im working on add some of this loader:
    061027 1723 HANCXC1250562_DB2020_CSLOADER_XXXXXX.2020_49_BROWN
    061114 0304 XXXCXC1250562_DB2020_CSLOADER_XXXXXX.2020_49_BROWN
    on XS++

    Unknown ETA

    Now about EROM this one maybe* works:
    Flash mbn & fbn works on XS++ 3.1/3.2
    Flash this file: DB2020_EROM_Wilma_Red52_R3A016_signed_by_Brown49.m bn
    as Main via COM cabel or USB (2&5)

    * i can not promise this work.
    Attached Files

    yup thats the main problem that XS++ dont have brown loders...is there any other method to access the filesystem or atleast upload flash menus? :S

    @Simri...thanks for the help...but can u tell me step by step process...and which MAIN and FS files should i use? or i just flash this file on the original firmware?? what are the chances of killing my fone?

    Also i dont want to kill the fone cuz its not mine, its my big brother's...so if i kill the fone, my bro will kill me...hehehe...
