    Ciphering not provided by operator

    I flash my SE K800i on new firmware R8BF003, everything works ok, bat on start of call I have message “Ciphering not provided by operator. Insecure transmission.” Help!!!

    This is because you are using a very old SIM card whereas the phone software is new which requires ciphering. You should check using another SIM card and this error should go away.

    Yeah... i read about this on the forum. This happens when two operators share the same network to reduce costs.
    Try changing the sim and see if it works or not.
