    Firmware versions?

Is there any official place to find the order that firmware files were released in?

Most normal companies order follow a simple process for firmware versions, e.g. v1, v1.1, v2, etc. so it's easy to see which firmware is the oldest, newest, etc.

With SE firmwares, it goes R1JC, R1GB, R1EZ, etc. How is someone suppsoed to tell which is the newest?

Also, are there any changelogs for the firmwares to tell you what was fixed, possible bugs, etc. ?

    Thanks

Well, it's easy. Ever heard about the alphabet? :D

It's all about numbers and letters.
Let me give you an example.

We've got R1J and R8B. Obviously R8B is the newer one.
Then We've got R1J and R1K. According to the alphabet R1K is the newer one.

    It's simple as that ;)

Unfortunately there are no official changelogs.

So which way round is it? b comes before j in the first case, you claim b is the newer. In the second case, k comes after j, but you claim k is newer?

If you look better you see that R1K is newer compared to R1J, but R8B is newer compared to R1K. This is what justme told you. You have to look at the combination of the 3 initial letters and numbers.
