Talking Debranding and Flashing a W810i

    Hi everyone,

This is my first post on here so I'll try and make it as detailed as possible. I have a W810i and here are the specs XS++ gave me:

    22:52:21| Profiling SEMC phone...
    22:52:21| Platform: DB2010
    22:52:21| OTP CID: 49
    22:52:21| EROM CID: 49
    22:52:21| EROM Color: Red
    22:52:21| Phone ID: W810
    22:52:21| Region: CINGULAR
    22:52:21| CDA: CDA102494/58 R14A
    22:52:21| Firmware Version: R4ED001

I've been reading on the internet for like 5 hours and I found Wally_Dogs guide here and I can seem to follow it alright, however, I can't get the files for my phone to flash. I think I found them on here but I can't download because I'm not a privaledged member, can someone direct me to the files I need to debrand and get flash menus on my phone? I already have the programs I need (i.e. XS++ and SE Tools Lite 1.10). Also, if someone knows of a thread (I couldn't find it) that gives a detailed explanation on getting flash menus on a W810i that would be awesome. Thanks.

    Josh

sweet now can anyone help me with the debranding? BTW I read somewhere that you can call your provider and they can give you a debranding code, is this true?

I think you're talking about unlocking, not debranding.
The provider can give you the unlocking code. Debranding is flashing a generic firmware.

So i don't need to debrand my phone to get it to have flash menus? Just unlock it? I thought I read somewhere that if you don't debrand your phone before you put flash menus on it, it can damage it?

P.S. If i need to debrand I'm gonna pay for the subscription but I want to know what files I need to download in advance so can you guys help me out with that?

Just flash any debranded firmware you want (all have english (UK) language).
    Main+fs+customize (or finalize).
Try with xs++, very easy and friendly user interface.
