    Tracking Stolen W580i Phone.

Few weeks ago I upgraded my phone to New W580i from AT&T, when the phone was sent to me the courier left it a the front porch of my house. It appears that someone took it from the porch. I called AT&T and they sent a replacement one. Couple of days ago, I saw my neighbor carrying the same phone that I ordered.

I am not sure that is mine , however, I have a strong feeling he is the one who took /stole it.

Does anyone know what are my options at this point? Can AT&T do something on thier end to verify that is the stolen phone, a serial # or anything like that?

I know I got a replacement, but I very upset that happened to me and some scum bag is enjoying the phone for free. Your input will be highly appreciated!

you should not take tension now as you have got the replacement ....it may be equally true that your neighbor might have bought a phone instead of stealing ....

AT&T knows the IMEI number (unique number, each phone has got a different IMEI) of the phone that has been sent to you. If your neighbour is using AT&T they can easily find out if this phone has been logged into their network or not.
You can also ask AT&T to blacklist the IMEI.
