Converting s550i to w580i - newbie question

I've searched around and found that it is possible to covert a s500 to a w580 but i've also found during my search that flashing the FS from s500i to w580i would damage the phone. My question is what is the best solution (most update solution)
1. flash main, fs and cust to w580
2. flash main and cust to w580
3. flash main only to w580

well i have s500 flashed to w580 for 4 months now and there is no damage or any kind of bug...so yes flash all main, fs and custompack to w580 it will work fine..

another question, can the full housing be changed from s500i to w580i, according to http://www.topsony.com/forum/showthr...ht=s500i+w580i
its not possible because of hardware differences but i thought they were the same minus the radio and shake thingy - not a massive difference right?
