    w810i "please wait" - i'm lost

    Hello everyone.

I recently acquired a used w810i with a problem. According to the previous owner, he bought it on eBay, and it was working ok. He updated it via SEUS, but something went wrong, and everytime he turned it on, it stucked at "please wait".

I thought something went wrong with the customization, so I tried flashing it. It didn't solve. Interesting thing is no matter how and how many times I flash it, the information reported by XS++ on firmware/region remains the same.
I browsed a bit with FSX and noticed certificate files aren't present, though it outputs that they have been correctly uploaded.

I read alot on the web, but found no conclusive info, though maybe angry users saying "it's gdfs, you can't fix it!!!".
What could be the problem? The IMEI is the original.
    This is the phone info:
    Code:
    13:07:16| Profiling SEMC phone...

    13:07:16| OTP CID: 49

    13:07:16| Firmware Version: R4CE012
    13:07:16| EROM: n/a
    13:07:16| Ready for operation!
I also tried "unlock/repair" with setool2 lite, but I only have a DCU-60 cable, should I buy a service cable? Flashing with setool2 doesn't write either, though it detects something about R4EK001, which is the firmware I'm trying to flash with.

    Code:

There has to be a way to solve this. What are your ideas?

the gdfs is damaged, the imei number in the gdfs doesn't match the one in the opt somewhere along the line some1 has flashed it's gdfs.

I don't think that is true. It is possible, but usually XS++ or Setool2, or both, output a Mismatch problem when that happens. I've seen some logs with that...

If the problem is with gdfs, though, what can I do?
