No. Patch unlock on A2 makes no sense as patch needs to be written to cxc which needs brown anyway!!! There is NO FREE method to unlock A2 phones.

General Information about Patch-Unlocking


This thread gives a little overview about patch-unlocking possibilities

It should answer the questions that are asked frequently on the forum.
All the the information you need is here on the forum but many users post questions that have been answered very often before even starting to read. I hope this thread will make it a bit easiers for all the beginners out there, have fun ;)


The first thing you need to find out about your phone is it's DB and CID.

Connect your phone to XS++ to find out it's CID and DB:





Important: The EROM CID ("Flash CID" in SE Tool) is the one that matters!
Don't get confused about the OTP CID.



DB2010/12: These phones can be patched up to CID49. There's no free solution for patching those phones if the CID is higher than CID49. CID can't be downgraded!

DB2020: These phones can only be patched if the CID is 52. You can upgrade to CID52 if necessary.

DB3150: These phones can't be patched for free yet (in fact they can't even be flashed for free at the moment).


You can create an unlocking patch with simox "Remove sim-lock patch generator".
