Why is the speed so slow?

Becasuse The File Transfer Rate Of Phone Memory Is Around 2-3mb/s Meaning That A 120mb Menu Will Take 120/2.5 = 48seconds To Load. A Menu Of 1mb Takes Only 0.4s To Load Which Is Still Irritating. Thats Why I Use Menu Icons Of Max 500kb Which Loads Instantly On Menu Button Click.

I resize menus but they are still larger than my phone memory,and I just would like to have them all on memstick and posibillity to upload from memstick.

First Of All I'm Not A Patch Maker. This Thread As Mentioned Is A Collection Of Patches On The Web. I Definately Add The Patch If I Get It Somewhere But Why Is The Menu So Large. Can You Please Post A Screenshot Of The Files In Folder In Detail Mode (Where Size etc Are In Context With Files) So I Can Also See The Reason For Such A Large Menu.

The reason for such large menus- 104 menu (67 in 24PNG, and 37 in 12GIF) .
The size of menu folder is 44,6 Mb

can anyone help me with porting the W830 elf patch? we have already got the library patch working but we need to port the other patch.

You must apply quick access patch.vkp with Setool2lite 1.11:

1. Select phone model - K800.
2. Click Identify
3. Mark Bypass DB2020 security
4. Add Main ( K800_R8BF003_MAIN_GENERIC_WI_RED52.mbn )
5. On MISC files add Quick Access patch.vkp
6. Click Flash hold "C" and plug USB cable.

After 3 - 4 min. Setool say to unplug cable, reinsert battery and click READY then again hold "C" and plug USB cable.

Then click NO to apply patch and wait ~ 20 min.

After all you have Quick Access patch and can apply patches (*.vkp)


1. Select phone model - K800.
2. Click Identify
3. Mark Use "quick access" patch
4. On MISC files add patch (*.vkp)
5. Click Write SCRIPT

NO - to apply patch
