can anyone here tell me, if there's some kind correlation to 3g signal strength whenever i put patches into my phone?

i have k800i, n flashed it to k810i R8BA024, with several patches..

another question:
i'm just a 'lil bit curious whenever video calling w'it..
my pic-video in the other phone (HTC TyTN II) (let's just say my friend's cell phone), looks not clear, i dunno how to describe it better: blurry (a lil bit)..
while my friend's video in my k800i looked clear..

is that because of k800i hardware-limitation? or because i flashed it into k810i + patches?

pls, someone here... gimme me feedback about it..
