Hello,

I'm new to this forum, and I ask for some advice on how to debrand my SE W710 - CID52 (which has Orange firmware).

I read information about how to do it (on this forum) and there seems to be many possibilities, I wouldn't want to screw my phone (just bought it :) ), please tell me if what I plan to do is correct and would work fine for me:

If I use SETOOL lite and using:
MAIN - W710_R1JC002_FS_MEDITERR_RED52
FS - W710_R1JC002_MAIN_GENERIC_CH_RED52
Customization - w710custpack\HB1-06_Gen_CDA102568_4_R5A_GENERIC_MEDITERR
I could debrand my phone?

Please tell me if the MAIN, FS and customization are matching.

Is this flashing possibility the safest and easiest or using XS++ or FAR and SEFP or other tool more appropriate for what I want?

use XS++ 1.6.8 to flash ur phone if it didnt work after flashing change ur meditter main to a Generic main. First did u unlock ur phone?

How can I unlock my phone? It's a CID52 and from what I've seen on this forum I cannot unlock it free, I have seen the option to unlock the phone with davinci (50 Euros), but I don't want to spend that amount of money.

Why do you say it could not work with meditter? Are there any potential problems I should be aware of?

bpistol, there is no free solution, you have to pay...

while you flash with the same main and fs, the only problem is the languages avaliables...

why can i not add my MAIN and FS file to setool, is it cuz its bin?

Why do you reply to threads which are like a few months old? You can use the Remove sim lock patch to unlock phones now.
