K800i locked to 3 > needs to use orange sim

hi guys,

ive used the forum before to fix my own broken phone and got great assistance to do it :D
I now have another k800i which is currently locked to 3. i need to unlock this (or debrand whatever) so i can use an Orange sim card in it.
i tried to reflash but now kinda stuck.

here is the log from xs++ when i first connected the phone.

it changed something from 49 to 52 automatically but im not sure what it was.

if someone could assist or point me in the direction of which files i need to download then it would be much appreciated.

hey yeah i was following that guide but didnt get it to work :(

not sure if im using the wrong main firmware?
was using this one which i had previously used on my own phoen (and worked)

You need any firmware (better newer version) you want, just check the CID52, so with XS++ add main + fs with customize checked flash that firmware (debranding). With main and the right vkp (unlocking patches) open setool lite and apply the patch togheter with main.

Are You Talking About Main? The One You Mentioned Is Not MAIN Its FS. Main Would Be Like Generic etc.

you need to change CID49 to CID 52 with XS++ and after that you need to use Remove SIM-lock patch generator - Top Sony Forums

this is the bit i got stuck at. it updated part of it automatically when i connected the phone to xs++

but now you see that one part is 49 and the other is 52? how do i change this?

OTP Is Something Different Than EROM. That Doesnt Matters. The Main Thing You Need To Concern With It EROM Here.

XS++ updated the EROM CID from 49 to 52, which is required to unlock your phone by patch.
The OTP CID is programmed by SE, and cannot be changed later. That is why you have the OTP CID: 49 and EROM CID: 52...

Don't worry your phone is just fine ;)

Now follow the guide in Remove SIM-lock patch generator thread...

do you need to use setool2lite to do this?

every time i try to add a file it just locks up?

running windows xp and have disabled anti-virus. can you do this using xs++??

also my anti-virus is reporting the qamaker exe as a virus - is this normal?
