Possibly wrong route?!?! Can't play Mp3s properly...

    Hey Guys,
I'm having problems with walkman player ... any help will be appreciated! Whenever I try to play some songs, a mix of other songs play. For example, I'll press play for "Song A" and first twenty seconds will play "Song H" next 15 seconds "Song D" etc.

Has anyone had this problem? Does anyone understand what's going on? Please help

    hi mohdumer
Do you mean to reformat the .mp3 files then re-encode them? I didn't rip the music files from a cd, and I didn't encode them. When I play the .mp3 files from my desktop, it works fine. Was this the same case with you? If so, how do I reformat and re-encode the .mp3 files?

    Thanks

Exactly. You May Use Any Converter, The One I Used Was IMTOO Mpeg Encoder, ImTOO DVD Ripper - rip DVD to AVI, DivX, MPEG, VCD, DVD converter. Add All Files, Select Output Format As mp3, And Reselect The Origanal Settings For Your Mp3's. If You Dont Know Then 128kbps,44100hz,Sterio. That Solved My Problem. Shoud Solve Yours.

hey mohdomer, I downloaded the ImTOO DVD Ripper - rip DVD to AVI, DivX, MPEG, VCD, DVD converter. The program is only for converting files from DVD format, so this doesn't work. My original files are already in .mp3 format. I'm not sure we had the same exact problem then but I'll still try re-encode my files.

ok I re-encoded .mp3 to .mp3 using Audacity, but the files still doesn't work. Worse, one of the original files (non re-encoded one) on my phone now gives a "playback failed error" :(
