Walkman player on K530i?

Hello brothers,

I am Mahbub, from Bangladesh (Asia). I have a K530i. Can it be possible, to add Walkman player (2.0/3.0 with mega bass) by firmware changing? If possible, firmware of which mobile I have to use? Will firmware changing disable any other functionalities of my phone, like 3G services, Adobe Flash lite support, GPS devices support etc? I wanted to buy a W610i, but in my country it is too pricey to buy that phone. So I've bought K530i. The phone is nice, but I am very much eager to have Walkman player.. :(

Another thing, my friend has a W810i. I've seen that some of his mobile's theme have specialties, like animated (main) menu icons. But when I transfered those to my phone, I didn't see those menu animations, just traditional menu icons. Why this happens? :confused:

if you wanted a w610, u should've bought a k550 instead then flash it with a w610..

but anyway, you can crossflash your k530 with a w660 firmware.. many have done this..

also, k530 doesnt support flash themes, like that found on your friend's w810, which is why you cant see the same menu animations..

also download firmwares from topsony ... 2 euro .. really worth it

How to enable flash themes? My phone specification says that it supports Adobe Flash Lite v1.1+. Is that related with flash themes? What I can do to w810's flash themes work on my phone?

Another question, if i flash my phone to W660i firmware, will i able to get all functionalities like GPRS/EDGE, JAVA working same as before? Will it be possible (for some reason) to go back to my K530 firmware after flashing? I have warranty of my phone, so I may need that.. ;) How to backup my current firmware? Can you post any topic of anyone who successfully flashed K530 with W660?

Yes if you will flash your phone to W660 FW everything will work, and you will get new functions...:cool: And if you will not want it, you can flash back K530 fw.

I say u flash it to w660i! u will get WALKMAN!!!!!!!!!!! and Flash menus! trust me bro! u can downflash it back to the original firmware anytime if u dont like w660i (i doubt u gonna do that)

another option is u can use third party walkman player.. for me kd player is quite good... u can change the skins and also have album art...
