Could I get access to the download section early?

Hi guys,
My phone is currently branded with Vodafone software. To get picture messaging, I need my sim card account modified by a Telstra store - they won't do it unless the phone is generic or telstra branded.
I'd like to debrand my phone as soon as possible, but I can't get access to the download section until I've got two months of membership. Is there any way I could be granted early access? In order to show commitment to the community I would happily write up a tutorial on how I do it as I go, which could be useful for Australian members or Vista users or something.
I understand that the rules are there for a reason, but please please please could I get access sooner? I need to get my phone working normally ASAP.

When I did this, my downloads were only available for 2 days...I guess I should contact the mods.

you can pay and have access to the download or just wait like every one else, if you have any problems with Premium accounts or payment you should contact the admins.
