Well R8BA024 is the latest firmware, unfortunately it has that light effects bug. I'm not really sure what the difference is between R6BC002 and R8BA024. What fixes/changes did SE make between the two. If you want to fix for the light effects, go R6BC002. If you want the latest firmware, go R8BA024. I have R8BA024, but I'm thinking of going back to R6BC002 because the light thing annoys me so much. I've also heard, though not confirmed, that SE is working on a new firmware revision that will fix this.
For R8BA024 you need:
W580_R8BA024_FS_AMERICA_1_RED52
W580_R8BA024_MAIN_GENERIC_LA_RED52
HB1-06_Gen_CDA102568_15_R8A_GENERIC_AMERICA_1 <-- custom pack
For R6BC002 you need:
W580_R6BC002_FS_AMERICA_1_RED52
W580_R6BC002_MAIN_GENERIC_LA_RED52
HB1-06_Gen_CDA102568_15_R8A_GENERIC_AMERICA_1 <-- custom pack
I believe the custom pack is the same for both firmwares. Can someone confirm?
