New Firmware for W580, R8BE001

Nope - that's pretty much how I run it now ... no light bug.

With R6B main and R8BA or R8BE FS, is the light bug an issue? I don't know which (FS or MAIN) controls this behavior

Well there's always the extreme... you could diff the firmwares and dissassemble the result :P

I hope so, but I'm starting to think SE has no idea about this issue or doesn't care.


If the light bug doesn't bother you, or if you use a flash theme, then R8BE001 is great. I personally think the acoustics are better, but maybe its all in my head

I only upgraded the MAIN at the time (before downgrading) - saw no difference anywhere.

The question arises, If there's no visible improvement, then why have they released this version???

The improvements are usually made in stuff like acoustics and camera drivers.
