    Question XS++ freezing?

    hi, i am new to xs++ so this may be a stupid question?

    I am trying to use with k610i, I can connect via usb (all drivers installed) so it looks good

    Code:
    23:02:56| XS++ v3.1 (Darwin) Ready !
    23:02:56| Executed on Microsoft Windows 2000
    23:03:00|
    23:03:00| Attempting to open the interface...
    23:03:00|
    23:03:00| TURN OFF PHONE!
    23:03:00| Hold 'C' button on phone and connect phone NOW.
    23:03:00| You have 30 seconds...
    23:03:00|
    23:03:04| Baseband ID: 9900
    23:03:04| Protocol Version: 3.1
    23:03:05| Phone name detected!
    23:03:05|
    23:03:05| Profiling SEMC phone...
    23:03:05| Platform: DB2020
    23:03:05| OTP CID: 49
    23:03:05| EROM CID: 52
    23:03:05| EROM Color: Red
    23:03:05| IMEI: 35170901xxxxxx
    23:03:05| Phone ID: K610
    23:03:05| Region: HUTCH_1
    23:03:05| CDA: CDA102497/49   R7A
    23:03:05| Firmware Version: R1JE001
    23:03:05| EROM: R3A011
    23:03:05| Ready for operation!

    the problem is that when i try to select a configure option everything freezes then just does not respond?

    I have tried multiple versions and all act the same so i am guessing that i have missed something?? any help would be great... thanks..

    hello fred.

    yes, i meant adobe flash player. XS++ needs that.
    oh and another thing.. did you install SEUS? (sony ericsson update service) it is necessary that you install that because XS++ uses the same drivers from SEUS

    hey mundix,

    yeah thanks i did do the se update service, and all the drivers now seem to work.. this is the weird thing because it connects fine, but as soon as i click on any option it totally freezes and then locks up? then when i go to task manager it say no responding?

    any other idea.. cause i am totally stumpted? thanks...

    EDIT:

    also another thing is that the progress bar along the bottom is all the way across but says lit up? like it may be stuck at like 99% done?

    It seems like your system has a problem with XS++. Try on another computer.

    Adobe flash player has got nothing to do with XS++. The you need flash drivers for the phone itself. They're not related to Adobe Flash (or any free flash plugin) in any way.

    ok that's good info justme.. well i read from another website that XS++ would say "Flash player not installed".. but that's probably not the one that's bothering you fred..

    try it on another computer.. maybe that would work

    That's SEUS, not XS++.

    Anyone find a solution to this problem?
    I have exact same problem. I can connect and flash phone, but when I click any of the configuration buttons at the bottom xs++ hangs.

    xs++ might have issues with Microsoft Windows 2000 or older computers
