W580i Language Change help!

Firmware has two parts:
1. FS: It contains languages, images, sounds, animations, settings, etc. Anything that isn't pure software.
2. Main: It contains the software.

If you want Russian you should flash you phone with
K850_R1CA037_MAIN_GENERIC_SO_RED52
K850_R1CA037_FS_RUSSIA_RED52
As customfile you could use K850i_1203-8132_R11A_GENERIC_RUSSIA

There isn't any K850_RIDA038 version with Russian. Maybe it will appear in the future.

The matter is that I have insertion R1CA031. Java does not work. Gives out mistakes. Please prompt whence and as to me to take these files (K850_R1CA037_MAIN_GENERIC_SO_RED52, K850_R1CA037_FS_RUSSIA_RED52, K850i_1203-8132_R11A_GENERIC_RUSSIA) and than with what program to stitch cellular. In advance thanks.

You can download the firmware form Top Sony - Download. But I think that you don't have access to download section, so you can buy an account or you can wait 2 month and post 20 messages. See this How to get access to Download Area? - Top Sony Forums

does anyone know where to get the r6bc002 taiwan custpack for w580? I don't think this site has it.

I have xs++ 3.1 however i do not see my phone model w580i. When i click on customize file system and select phone model only option close to mine is W550 and W600 but no w580i. Are these close enough. When i did flash read somewheres to just use custompack which i did(selected own custompack). here is log i know alot of time it helps

you have to put your own custpack into the XS++ folder before you flash the custmize pack.

You can find a lot by just googling it, but try to use the exact filename for best results.

Keep in mind, be careful about what files you trust. I do not know if a trojan could come in with a custpack, but the various softwares you use to flash could have one if the site is not trustworthy.
