w810i...I'm confused,need help

Hi, i'm Italian. It's my first post in forum so i hope i'm doing this right. I hope that you can help me to solve my problem. I have an english w810i unlock and unbrand. I would try to flashing my mobile to resolve my two problems:
1) walkman player start to play songs with very high noise and distortions. (Also when the song is stopped, the noise continues until i close the player!!)
2) I would like to have Italian language. :)

The walkman player is unusable. I think that the best way to solve the problem is flashing mobile.. is it correct ? I'm confused, should i use phone-xs? I have to download firmware, file sistem and cda in accordance with my firmware or can i choose a firmware better than mine? Please, can you tell me step by step how to solve these problems?

my software version is:CXC1250317 R4EA031

Look connect your phone to xs++ 3.1 and copy here your phones log.

your version (R4EA031) is the most common, now you need to find the right FS (to flash you need MAIN, FS and Custom pack) that contains italian language. also you need to take in consideration the CID, if your phone is CID 49 then use CID 49 if it is CID 50 then use fw CID 50. the rest is easy. look at tutorials, Use XS++ or SeTool, latest versions, also make a back-up of your GDFS this is very important.

Do you think that flashing the phone i solve the ploblem with walkman player?
I have my original R4EA031 firmware, so can i download the same or choose one better, more recent?

according to your CID use these files:
MAIN: W810_R4EA031_MAIN_GENERIC
FS: W810_R4ED001_FS_EUROPE_5
Custom pack: Helen_CDA102494_44_R1A_Generic_Trade_Italy
or: W810_CDA102555_14_R2A_Generic_EUROPE_5

For CID 49 use main and fs CID 49, for CID 50 use CID 50 versions.

U can find out what CID to use by connecting to XS++ or SeTool lite and Identify and look at OTP CID and EROM CID.

Yes, I think your Walkman problem will be solved.
Custom pack is not a code, thats why it is called "pack" it's am archive that needs to be downloaded, it contains more files, and needs to be uploaded to the phone with XS++ or SeTool.

ohh! I have supposed that the Custom pack was not a file to download because i don't see it in download\firmware. This fact seemed strange. the file is in download\Custom file. All Ok.

OK kotr, now is all clear about flashing procedure.
Now can you explain to me the difference between "xs++ 3.1 Darwin" that i see in the guide and the "xs++V31" that i see in program subgroup on the downloads section?
