Im pretty sure i did uncheck bypass db2020 security but i havnt done that usb drive thingy will that affect anything else i put in the usb drive like a flash disk or mp3 ect..

The USB flash driver is needed to communicate with SE phones during flashing, patching etc nothing more. You find the required driver in SETool2 Lite v1.11 folder\drivers\USBFlash_driver\ folder.

If you have other USB devices connected to computer, remove them all.

Ok nope same problem as yesterday... everytime i put the usb in and hold c then click write gdfs it goes to transfer files with out asking and after 36 it cancels with the message i said before.
I unchecked bypas db2020 security and checked quick connect and put the generated unlock patch in the misc section but it hasnt worked?

O and also while flashing and installing the quick connect patch close to the end it said there are some differences between the patches or something like that and asked me to continue and i clicked yes.

help still needed

Wait a minute, who told you to press write gdfs button(or it is just a typo)? You will brick your phone for sure.

When the tutorial says to press FLASH, Write SCRIPT etc. buttons, then you need to remove the battery for about 5 seconds then put it back. And after that you hold the 'c' button on phone and connect the cable. This is the right order.

And start the whole process again...

no sorry mine was a typo i didnt click write gdfs ... it was write script soz.

I normal conditions it isn't necessary to disconnect any of them. But he had/has problems, and I suggested to do that, because can be some USB devices what conflict with SE USB flash driver...

hey simox i used this walk thorugh but before i got to the XS++ part of it, It said

wtf is going on.

yes i domne it nm that.... but now im back to my original problem which was the reason i flashed it in the first place is... my games and apps folder wont open it just says operation failed? how do i fix this please.

Have you managed to unlock the phone?
About 'operation falied': have you installed any java games/apps after flashing th phone? If yes one of them can be the problem. You can fix this by reflashing completely (MAIN, FS, custom pack) the phone again. There is no other way...

Yes i managed to unlock it seemed really simple with that walkthrough although it missed out bypas db2020 secrurity.
Operation failed was happening before i unlocked it... its the reason i flashed in the first place and locked my phone back to 3 because the shop where i had it unlocked clearly only did a patch unlock like what i just did yesterday.
how do i flash all of that i flashed the phone along with the unlock patch didnt i? but i still have all my phones files eg.. themes ringtones,texts,contacts .. the only thing that went after the flash was my call list.
