HELP: White Screen K800, now DEAD!

i was just using my phone normally when it happened! I have never flashed it ever, but I was just talkin normally with my friend until it turned off.

I tried turning it on after, and i get a white screen and it freezes at the sony logo afterwards. now, my phone doesn't turn on at all, even after i tried "charging" it to the max(the charging screen doesn't even show anymore).

When i try to turn it on by pressing the power button, there's this RED IR light that flashes inside on the bottom right side of the phone for some reason. but the phone just doesnt turn on at all.

i'm a noobie to these phone flashing and stuff, anyone know what the problem is and how to fix it, if possible!?

The 1 year manufacturer warranty just expired like 2 months ago too! :(

Thanks for the tip. But i was trying to detect my CID first by connecting my phone with XS++ 3.1 . After holding C, and connecting the USB cable to my phone, i get this message from XS++:

Error: Cannot open phone communication port
    Disconnected... Unplug the phone

I already installed the USB Flash Drivers (gordon's Flash drivers) and did exactly as i should, but still doesn't detect my phone.

What is the problem now? am i supposed to install the "cruiser drivers" or is there just something REALLY wrong with my phone? ? thanks in advance

How to solve "Error: Cannot open phone communication port" problem.

Due to many users having this problem, I'm posting a guide on how to solve it.

Basicly, you need to install the drivers for your phone, they are special flash drivers different from the PC Suite drivers.

To install them you need SEUS (Sony Ericsson Update Service) downloaded and installed on your PC (Windows XP SP2 & Vista 32bit only).

Run the program, go through the steps and then connect your phone (when it says to).
Once connected, click the "Back to Start" button (or if available, you can download the newer firmware if you want to).

The drivers should then be installed, and your phone should now be able to be used with XS++ .
    Nice day

The drivers are already installed if he used Gordon.

Usually the phone does not get recognized if you just press C.
    Use 2+5 instead.
Also, I would recommend you trying the SEKing solution.

Hey ! holding 2+5 worked in connecting, but it doesn't read the CID of my phone...all i get in the log is this now:

    03:02:27| Baseband ID: 9900
    03:02:27| Protocol Version: 3.1

And then no more information :(

Could it be that I installed the wrong drivers for my USB cable?
How else do i get more info?

I would try SEKing but i don't think it will tell me which CID version i have because I don't know the CID # of my phone yet. So i must use XS++ to find it out first before using SEKING. :(
    thanks

Unfortunately it seems like Wotan has disabled the DB2020 EROM upgrade for free...

I'm not sure, I couldn't upgrade the EROM some days ago.
I'll try again in a few minutes. Maybe you could try it, too, so we can surely confirm that.
    Wotan didn't announce anything.

Edit: It's definitely not working for me. Wotan demands a login.

    Connect your phone, pressing "C"
    waiting...
