No. I Found Somewhere In The Forums That You May Add Languages Without Flashing. Search The Forum.
For Chinese, I can deffinitly say flashing a CHINA_MAIN or TAIWAN_MAIN for traditional chinese or HONG_KONG_MAIN for simplified chinese would be the easiest thing for you. Otherwise you will need to get ahold of those firmwares anyways and extract the font out of it, and the use far to put it into your phone. And then if you wanted to be able to use the languages, you would then need to also add the .t9 and .lng files to the phone as well as modify some files such as the customize.xml and stuff. The fact that your phone is cid52 will make all that much more dificult than some of the older phones
What is the Chinese font name? **.t9 and **.lng
from what i've heard (and experienced) the easiest way to display chinese text is to flash with a generic firmware and a HK, TW or mainland china filesystem (FS), and custpack if however you want to be able to type in chinese as well, you'll need a HK, TW or mainland China firmware as well...
cheers
But my phone is Z550a. I can not find a chinese versionn of generic firmware. This is only way to do by Adding Languages Without Flashing.
Please let me know where I can find all stuffs. (*.t9 ,*.lng, *.ttf and etc)
Thanks.
To view chinese characters you don't need the firmware (main). only the FS and the custpack.... but if you want to write you need both....... or like you said the t9, lng and ttf files...... not really sure, but I think this thread may be of use to you

Looks like you can take the files from other firmwares... and send them into your phone via FAR manager...
cheers,
