First technical opinion: you NEED to be absolutely sure ALL files (main, FS, custom and patch) are coherent, i.e. same version, and so on.

Last chance: maybe some Maori chaman did cast a spell on your handset, you COULD try and sing a haka before giving it a new try. I've been told it sometimes helped...
