    My Advice Would Be To Use SEUS. As A Precaution, You May Backup Your GDFS Before You Do Anything. However You May Use XS++ Which Is Also Very Safe.
    Read This Tutorial For Backing Your GDFS Or Upgrading Your Firmware Using XS++.
