this is it but it is locked to voda i guess now as when i put in orand or o2 it said inactive sim

Using simox SIM-Lock remover patch generator v2.1.. managed to unlock a K800i.. was on UK ASDA.. now works with Virgin..
and here's the results. (vsp file)

I first used XS++ to verify current software took a scrren shot of the text.
Showed phone was Db2020 / CID 52 / CDA102511-189 R1A/ running R1KG001 firmware.
I had already tried using the SE site update phone, but did not give me a newer firmware.

I also made a copy of the GDFS just in case with Setool2 Lite 1.11
I then followed the instructions kindly posted by someone else.

1. Downloaded the R8BA024 firmware files

K800_R8BA024_MAIN_GENERIC_WI_RED52
K800_R8BA024_FS_EUROPE_2_RED52

2. Flashed them via XS++

- Flash the Main and FS files
- Select Customise, choose your region & re-flash (just the customise, and not the Main and FS)

3. Ran Simox's utility to generate the VKP file

4. Ran Setool2 Lite 1.11

- Choose phone
- In Files, add the Main firmware file
- In MISC files add the VKP generated by Simox's utility
- Select FLASH and then follow the instructions
- When a dialog comes up, select NO to apply the patch.

Removed Cable and put my Virgin sim in.. :) .. Oh I did have problems trying to get communication with my Vista 64 machine so I had to do all the technical stuff with my trusty old XP machine. Thanks to all the guys who made this possible. I've never attempted this on a phone before, and if I can do it anyone can

I have a k800i and i tryed to apply the unlocking patch to the phone using setool 1.1 but i removed the cable as it wasnt working right so now the phone won't turn on or even let xs++ or setool1.1 read a thing. What can I do ?? The log file is anexed...
