is there any chance i could unlock my sony k800i its on oragne and i would like it to be branded to vodafone im in the uk so if theres any thing else you need to know let me know

You have to install the vodafone branded firmware.Search for it.
Also,this isnt called unlocking or debranding.You are branding your phone with a new firmware.If you want to debrand or unlock your phone you have to install generic firmware on it.

i see so i need to get the uk vodafone firmwear and replace it with the old one (orange)

But first you should brand it too Vodafone and then unlock it.

ive tryed to put the vkp code in my phone with setool lite
but it dont work

can someone please tell me the walk through for unlocking my k800i
ive sorted the unlock code and got setools 1.1 but cant work out how to apply the patch

How to remove or add the patch with SETool 2 Lite:

First copy this code to notepad and save as patch.vkp
Then:

- Select your phone model
- click Use "quick access" patch tick box
- add the same Patch to MISC File
- Click Write Script
- Hold C and insert Cable
- Click "Yes" to remove the patch. Click "No" to add the patch.
