Debranding question for w610i

Hi I tried to put flash menus on my phone I did evrything right but it did not work so my question is do I have to debrand my phone first? and if I debrand it will I loose my carrier by that I mean will I be able to make calls send text msgs like before will I still be able to use my mobile on my carriers network?

Debranding a phone is just flashing the main and FS with a generic one and not your phone operator one. You will still be able to do everything like you use to do, your IMEI is the the GDFS.

Flash menu's do work on the W610i so I don't see why yours doesn't, just follow the tutorials more carfully.

don't worry nothing will happen if you debrand
you won't loose your carrier

your phones features will get unlocked... branded phones have damn many restirctions. they will all be removed ..!! yes you can easily add flash menus. just get hold of a tutorial
if you can't then let me know... i am tut maker.. have written good tutorials

Hi akshayy you answered my debranding question and I have another question there is no custpack with cda number for my mobile in topsony

Will the other ones that they have for my region work? if not can you send me a link to a tut that shows me how to save then upload the cutspack that I have in my mobile. thank you in advance

don't worry. you can use any AMERICA 2 CUST PACK. no need of number match.

in XS++ see if k610 or w880 has AMERICA 2 CUST PACK then choose phone as k610 or w880 and select AMERICA 2 Cust pack and flash. it will work

but if you want the number to match. then download any cust pack and in cust pack change the number in the customize.xml .. just paste your number in its place.. and done

You should first connect your phone to xs++ and then copy here your phones log without IMEI number.
