    flash w610 main on k550

i've heard that if i don't wish to upgrade my k550 cid51 to cid52 and still want to upgrade to w610 i can flash a w610 cid51 main on it, is it true ?

if so, how do i flash just the main ?
do i need to finalize it ? do i need to flash cust pack on it ?

Yes.You must make a full flash ( main, filesystem and custom file ). Yes, you must finalize it, otherwise you will get configuration error.

    Custom pack finalize your phone.

    NIce day

    just before i flash,
this is the ouput in XS++ when i let it identify my phone:

    09:52:13| Baseband ID: 9900
    09:52:13| Protocol Version: 3.1
09:52:13| Warning: IMEI name does not match GDFS name (IMEI:NULL GDFS:K550)
    09:52:13| ...using GDFS name
    09:52:13|
    09:52:13| Profiling SEMC phone...
    09:52:13| Platform: DB2020
    09:52:13| OTP CID: 49
    09:52:13| EROM CID: 51
    09:52:13| EROM Color: Red
    09:52:13| IMEI: 35589301xxxxxx
    09:52:13| Phone ID: K550
    09:52:13| Region: S_ASIA_LEVAN
    09:52:13| CDA: CDA102295/1 R2A
    09:52:13| Firmware Version: R6BC002
    09:52:13| EROM: R3A011
    09:52:13| Ready for operation!
09:52:20| User chose NOT to update EROM CID!

now you can see that i have a cid52 firmware on a cid51 phone, can i still flash an old cid51 firmware on it ?
another thing, will it be safe to do cid upgrade on this phone via wotanserver ? since the cid and firmware don't match and the phone can't be identified through it's imei. i'm asking about wotan since XS++ doesn't upgrade it and SEUS doesn't upgrade my phone firmware.

You have EROM CID: 51, you don`t have CID 52. You can flash old CID 51. Why would you upgrade your CID to a higher?

    Nice day

lol, i ment that my firmware version is available to download only for cid52, which means it's newer than other cid51 firmwares, and i wanted to know if it won't give me any trouble flashing an older firmware.

If your still stuck, try this very easy guide (lots of pictures etc.) - K550 to W610 - Joseph's Site

Also, if you want to upgrade your cameradriver afterwards, visit this page:
