is there a way to flash k850 without using DV? i dun want to pay for something i can do on my own

Sent my K850i away for repair/re-flashing but SE won't cover the cost because they said I need proof of purchase and eBay doesn't count :( Cost is going to be AU$200 :eek: Hopefully I'll have it back in a few days though.
