    How to name a firmware?

This might be the dump question but I ask for my firmware everywhere I can but nobody answer it so I have to find it myself.
I need w580i, R8BA024 firmware, APAC 1 (English, Vienamese, ... ) description of language, and CDA102774/102. They often make it R8BA024_APAC1_xxxx

About the CDA list, my CDA is CDA102774/102, and I DON'T find it in the CDA list. And if I find out, I don't know what with it. It should be the "xxxx" part in the name. I use AT&T in America. But I want to debrand it, so what CDA I need and what I have to take out from the CDA list to put in the name?? (they have the column Lenguaje and column Descripción)
By the way, is the way I name it right? Firmware_ Language_CDA?

    R8BA024_APAC1_xxxx
The "xxxx" stands for the Colour and the CID in the download area.
    Like this: R8BA024_APAC1_RED52 -->Colour:RED CID:52

Why are you looking for APAC? You should choose AMERICA 1 or 2 if you're living in America.

oh, I see. The CID is the EROM CID right? So mine should be R8BA024_APAC1_RED52.
Sweet, everything make sense now. Thank you so much.
By the way, what CDA do? I know the definition. I just want to know what I have to do with that list b-)

I want APAC1 because I'm Vietnamese. I'm in America but I would like to have Vietnamese in that alos. Is that ok to have a firmware like that?

Oh, one things I forget, do you know the start and length of w580i? I want to use FAR to full backup the firmware, but I don't know the start and length.

    link to cust files
    Downloads - w580custpack - Top Sony Forums

needs to match the cda of the phone unless you change it (the cda).

If the cust file is looking for english and you didnt choose a fs that supports one with english then you will also get error.

    is that a branded phone?

Yes. It's AT&T phone. But it was unlock. My CDA is CDA102774/102. I don't find it in the list cust pack. if I want to debrand it, I think I have to use another Custpack, right? Or what I have to do? I'm kind of confuse now.
If I just flash the firmware with the same CDA, is this mean that I just update, not debrand? Can you teach me or give me the link to the guide. Thanks
Besides, do you know the start and length of w580i? I want to use FAR to full backup the firmware, but I don't know the start and length.
    Thank you :D

Beside, in the download area, we only have FS_apact1. do you know anywhere I can find main_apact1?
    What's the different anyway :D

    You can use this one:

    W580_R8BA024_FS_APAC_RED52 ( filesystem )
    W580_R8BA024_MAIN_GENERIC_LA_RED52 ( main )
    HB1-06_Gen_CDA102568_101_R8A_GENERIC_APAC ( custom file )

    All are in download section.

    Making a Firmware's complete Backup

    Nice day

usually when you re phone is branded you have to debrand it to experience the REAL phone..the cda which you could use just has to match the main and FS..it doesn't necesserily has to be the same you had when you bought your (branded) phone..
