How to name a firmware?

usually when you re phone is branded you have to debrand it to experience the REAL phone..the cda which you could use just has to match the main and FS..it doesn't necesserily has to be the same you had when you bought your (branded) phone..

you cant transfer from phone to computer with a DB2020 phone - its a 1 way road. (the w580i is)..
You need ALL 3 FILES to flash your phone.

fs is like program files on your computer, MAIN is like windows, cust file tells your phone what to look for.

What's are you talking about? Is this about the fully backup firmware? Is that mean that I can't fully back up my phone?
I thought that I just need the start and length and do the things on the guide. :confused:

Following Jasmin's thoughtful advice, I typed >x<<*<* on my K800i whick gave me a LOT of things which I dumbly jotted down, isn't it a way just to show them on the puter, at least to avoid copy mistakes?

well thanks to THIS forum site I already gathered I have a DB2020/CID51, Vodaphone branded (THAT I had already noticed !!! :D) and the firmware is widely obsolete (R1CE001). The CDA thing I now know, too.

But the rest is mainly Greek to me...

CDA ( CDA102511/39 R12A ) , if you want debrand your phone, you must choice a new one, because this one is vodafone branded.
